  Analysis Finds Acthar Gel Cost-effective for MS Relapses

  Phew.
  The longer I’ve done this job as being a Co-Moderator for the MS Forum unsurprisingly – the more I learn.
  In the UK when I had/were having a heavy relapse the only solution offered was heavy duty steroids.
  To find in the US that there are two other ones plasmapheresis and intravenous immunoglobulin is new to me. It may well be that they are available in the UK as the steroids always worked on me. Well, except at the end when I moved into SPMS.
  Now there is a new one Acthar Gel.
  What new medical info has surprised you about MS?
