Day 31 of #31DaysOfMS: My Horse Remains the Unbroken Center of My Life
Anna Sochocky’s remembers her neurologist’s words. “I am sorry to tell you that the lesions indicate multiple sclerosis.” Upon hearing that, the only thing that mattered to Anna was whether she would be able to ride again.
She returned to the barn three months after her diagnosis. Going through the repetitive practices of grooming, saddling, and bridling her horse, boosted her confidence. Eleven years after her diagnosis, Anna has learned to live with MS and created her own therapy plan with her horse, the center of her life.
Anna, thanks for sharing such an uplifting story with us!
Now back to our MS Community: What is the one, unbroken center of your life? What keeps you whole?
