Trial Tests New Kind of Stem Cell Therapy
Nothing to get excited over yet but the UK MS Society is reporting about researchers from Imperial College London conducting a trial of MSCT, which stands for mesenchmyal stem cell therapy.
The results didn’t show any reduction in inflammation, The scientists will now look at whether it has any other positive outcomes like repairing myelin.
The test subjects had to have the cells removed from their bone marrow. A 144 patients did.
Would you be brave enough to risk volunteering for such a trial?
