I was always tired. Â I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease so I attributed a lot to that, the tiredness, the aches and pains the clumsiness etc. Years later, after I was supposedly clear of the Lyme and that was past, I had numbness in my face and my regular Dr sent me to a neurologist that did testing and spinal tap, and they diagnosed MS.

I too suffer from bad edema. Feet are huge! I can take water pills either OTC or prescription to help alleviate, but then the problem is having to get to the bathroom in time. Â Movement is hard to do. Â Â Each leg must weigh 25 lbs each! Does anybody have any recommendation for shoes or slippers to house these things? TIA

Hi, I purposely started Nutrisystem, because I knew I was gaining weight not being that active and all, lost 30lbs! Then gained 1/2 back :(, so I am starting it again. Not giving up on me!

Yes, I had one. Nervous as heck when I had it, yet it did confirm diagnosis. Took me 2 days to recoup (I was the fool that went back to work afterwards). Â I’ll never forget my spinal tap, I have a permanent scar, lump on my back, thanks to the idiot dr. (don’t see him anymore).

Ann M replied to the topic What is the first thing you would do if you were free from MS? in the forum Living With MS 4 years, 1 month ago
I’d take a walk around the neighborhood and take in the sights and fresh air, but when it gets warmer, I’d go to the beach and just walk along the shoreline. Â Would love to get back onto a beach.

Ann M replied to the topic Does the summer heat keep you housebound? in the forum Living With MS 4 years, 6 months ago
YES! I can’t stand the heat (and the intense cold for that matter!) Â Basically I stay close to home in the summer and the winter months…boring! The Spring and the Fall are my seasons to enjoy :).
