MemberNovember 21, 2019 at 7:15 pm in reply to: When did you know something was wrong? What was your first MS symptom?I was always tired. Â I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease so I attributed a lot to that, the tiredness, the aches and pains the clumsiness etc. Years later, after I was supposedly clear of the Lyme and that was past, I had numbness in my face and my regular Dr sent me to a neurologist that did testing and spinal tap, and they diagnosed MS.
I have a question for everyone…bad spinal tap? I now have a lump on my spine where tap was done, the lump was small for years, now larger and has not changed appearance or size for years, it’s been over 10 years, any problems due to that?
Thanks in advance.

I too suffer from bad edema. Feet are huge! I can take water pills either OTC or prescription to help alleviate, but then the problem is having to get to the bathroom in time. Â Movement is hard to do. Â Â Each leg must weigh 25 lbs each! Does anybody have any recommendation for shoes or slippers to house these things? TIA

YES!! Oh it is awful! Â My poor husband. My mouth is so dry some mornings. Medicines have a lot to do with it. I know the nights I take Baclofen close to bedtime it is bad. It can’t be good for the teeth?

Took me 2 days to recoup (I was the fool that went back to work afterwards). Â I’ll never forget my spinal tap, I have a permanent scar, lump on my back, thanks to the idiot dr. (don’t see him anymore).

Would love to get back onto a beach.

YES! I can’t stand the heat (and the intense cold for that matter!) Â Basically I stay close to home in the summer and the winter months…boring! The Spring and the Fall are my seasons to enjoy :).
