Biography

Hello, my name is Brian and I recently was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I am a licensed EMT, and was working as a Medical Provider for a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. I also used to work on an ambulance. Although I have had MS symptoms for years, it took until a week ago to receive the diagnosis. I am already suffering from extreme fatigue/lethargy, nearly full body neuropathy (itching, numbness, burning, sharp stabbing pain, pins and needles), muscle spasms and contractions, pain, tremors, muscle weakness, cognitive impairment, blurred vision, dizziness, vertigo, heat intolerance, difficulty urinating, and more. Each day is different with my symptoms, but many of them remain constant. I am hopeful that with an MS medication, and positive changes to daily living, I can get back to work and helping others soon. I am interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis, and having others who understand it share their feedback.
