      Hi Ed, and thanks for the welcome! I was diagnosed with MS in 1982, but my initial symptoms receded and only began to recur, in much milder form, a few years ago. I continued to deny them and avoided neurologists for years. I am now 70 and am feeling symptoms increase pretty steadily with age. I will see a neurologist in the Spring.…

      • It makes a lot of sense, Doris, and you’re not alone. Lots of others have ignored their early symptoms thinking they’d go away, only to have them appear later. I’m glad you’ll be seeing a neuro and I hope it’s one who specializes in MS. Even at 70 there are treatments that can help.

    • Yes, it has started to happen to me, too. Thought it was hormonal so cut back on progesterone, which helped Fr a while, but then the night sweats started again. It did not occur to me that it might be related to MS. Not sure what to do about it. Thanks for raising the subject, Micki!
