Hi Susan –
Sorry for the delayed response. I’m no longer moderating this site. The BioNews management decided to remove the two paid moderators for an undetermined period of time. However, I’d still be glad to keep in touch. You can see my MS Wire columns on the main MS News Today website or follow my personal blog at http://www.themswire.com.

The latest weapon in the arsenal of disease-modifying therapy is Briumvi, a new b-cell-depleting therapy.
Have you heard about it? Is this something you might ask your neurologist about trying?

Hi Deb,
Thanks for joining us in our forums. I was in the original Phase 3 clinical trial of Avonex back in the late 1990s and was then treated with it for about 7 years. I developed needle fatigue, wound up having my wife give me the shots and eventually changed DMTs to Tysabri, which was an easy treatment and much more effective than Avonex. I…[Read more]

Jilly, Sorry about your new year. I hear you and absolutely know how you feel (probably better than anyone else). There are people who think they know what’s best for us. Sometimes they do have a clue but usually they don’t. I love that you’re making toys for kids in the hood, btw.

Ed Tobias started the topic Have you thought about your brain recently? in the forum Living With MS 2 months, 1 week ago
Brain shrinkage, or atrophy, is one of the silent symptoms of MS and it has a direct impact on brain “fog” and other cognitive issues. My neurologist says “time is brain.”. https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/columns/2022/12/09/managing-brain-atrophy-multiple-sclerosis/
Has your neurologist talked with you about brain atrophy?

Neurologists have, for years, classified MS in four categories: CIS, RRMS, PPMS, and SPMS.
https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/columns/2022/12/02/are-stages-ms-still-useful-diagnosis/Does it matter what it’s called, except to insurance companies? Do you care how you’re classified?
