I was diagnosed with RRMS 5 years ago. I successfully maintained on Copaxone until earlier this year, when my MRI showed a significant increase in lesions. To firther complicate my treatment, I was also diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis with multiple organ involvement the same week as my disappointing MRI. It has been a roller coaster ride ever since. I am married to a wonderful man who unfortunately suffers from dementia. I still work full time as a rape crisis counselor, and am mom to 3 chihuahuas and a cat.
