I am a Fellow of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have been a counsellor for people with MS, members of their families and professionals working with them since 1983. I have written many papers and several books based on this work. They include Helping Children with ill or Disabled Parents (originally My Mum Needs Me, published by Penguin Books) and The Trouble with Illness (both Jessica Kingsley) .
