I have been diagnosed with PPMS and probably suffered from it for the last 10 years, when I started falling off running machines and losing concentration playing concerts.
The PPMS is developing slowly but perceptibly; my diagnosis coincided with the onset of COVID-19 and prevented me starting Ocrevus (the only approved treatment in the UK.) I am now an active cyberchondriac and waiting patiently for all my medical help to be reappear.

No-one knows. Between 2 and 42 years, the lower figure being the time I have been diagnosed.
