Biography

Hi. Not sure where I am. Came back from neurological specialist a couple of days ago. Head in the clouds a little. Kinda switch off when talking to him. As far as I can tell he said I possibly have ms but can only be sure by giving a spinal tap. I wont even get his medical notes for another few weeks. He gave me option to have spinal tap but didn’t press me to get one. I want one to make sure because there are complications with my diagnosis because I was a heavy drinker. I’ve been sober 5 years now. So at first he thought it was balance problems through that. But once I had my second MRI scan for spine and brain, he said without committing himself, it is ms but cant be sure unless I have a spinal tap. I am going to have the tap so I know where I am and prepare myself. He told me to report in if there are any related symptoms to ms and then take it from there. I start a job in Belgium in 3 weeks time and want a definite answer before i go if possible. Hope you are all as well as can be and i empathise with you all.
