Winding down dual careers of decades, jazz singer and hypnosis therapist.  It seems I may have had MS since a teenager. It was diagnosed only 7 or so years ago after MRI showed scarring/lesions on brain. In 1979 I underwent a barbaric scoliosis surgery before “non-invasive” was a a surgical term! Was opened up and cut from base of skill to anus, then into hip where bone was harvested to cover the spinal cord.  Spine fused from T2 to L5, metal rod buried within fusion.

It’s always difficult to know what pain, numbness and new neuropathy may be caused by the surgery or MS. Don’t we always want to blame a symptom on something?  All that has grown worse as I’ve aged.  I live alone.  I use to canes to get about.

I recently began taking LDN ( Low Dose Naltraxone.) My research found that people with MS in many cases rave about it and that their pain situation and quality of life has improved.
