I was diagnosed with RRMS in 2006 at the age of 34 after having optic neutitis in my right eye. I started on my first DMD (Avonex) a few weeks later, only to experience another setback: petit mal seizures after each weekly injection.
My love-hate relationship with DMDs began. I’ve been on Copaxone, Tysabri, Low-Dose Naltrexone, Tecfidera, Rituxan, Zinbryta, and Ocrevus. I’ve also had many rounds of Solu-Medrol. I’m currently off all drugs because of my latest diagnosis: heart failure.
