      Hi Steven
      Welcome back.
I’ve been the Co-Moderator on here since last summer – think we may have had a chat [yes, I’m a Londoner].
It’s a different world – still it’s been good for the birds and pollution!
      Cheers John

So I started a new hobby whittling, I used to love woodworking but it was getting too hard and dangerous to use my saws so I slowly stopped woodworking and I miss it very much so I decided to take up whittling and it is a lot of fun whittling my grandchildren animals and things I will start calling myself whittling whit. lol

I used to walk in the year 1996 and hunt ride motorcycles very good and even run but I new I was slowing down because I was falling down all the time and getting mad at myself for being clumsy.I could not believe what was happening to me, about the year 2010 I was to the point of needing help to walk a few steps and using a walker and I hated it…[Read more]

Steven Whitson replied to the topic Do you get dry mouth? in the forum Living With MS 3 years, 3 months ago

I used too but now that I am using a cpap it has gone away. It might be a lack of humidity in the room Ed my cpap uses water and I need to refill it every night because of the air being so dry in the room. That’s my two cents anyways.

Thanks, Steven. I think that a lot of this may have to do with the lack of humidity in the bedroom. Although Florida’s humidity is generally high the condo we’re renting has a de-humidifier that runs with the A/C.

Steven Whitson started the topic Twice as many people with MS since DX'ed in 1996 in the forum Living With MS 3 years, 4 months ago

Can this really be true or are doctors just saying this because it is easier for them or is there something out there giving people MS? Because I am having a hard time believing this there was 500,000 when I was DX’ed in 1996 23 years ago.

Nearly 1 million people—more than twice the previously reported number—are living with MS, according to lan…[Read more]

I remember when my MS started before I was DX’ed falling in the woods hunting and falling at work over a crack in the cement floor and being so embarressed and that people are thinking I must be drunk or something but falling in the woods duck hunting with my buddies got bad when I fell with my shotgun and accidentally firing off a shot almost…[Read more]

So I started on Ocrevus Monday Jan.21,2019 and all went fine with the first half infusion except for a little throat irritation, but I do feel like I have more energy to stand and walk even though I still need a walker and wheelchair to get around but I’ll take what I can get.

okay I had to go and get a readout on my c-pap for my doc at my medical supply store and my wife went in for me and came back out with what I was thinking would work better than a chair and that would be this bench seat that fits across the bathtub so it would be easier for a person to grab and pull up each leg in and out of the tub at least it is…[Read more]
