My wife was 6 mos. pregnant with our little boy in Sept. 2012 when I woke up BLIND. We went through some VERY tough times, but we made it! I have a wonderful 2 year old little boy, we just had our second little boy, we’ve purchased our first home, I have ALL of my vision back, and am enjoying being a stay at home Dad to my boys! All the research and new therapies are great, and we need them. But, there’s 1 thing, the 1 and ONLY thing that has gotten me to this point, and it’s not any medication or therapy. When I got sick, my focus returned to a very important person whom I had forgotten about in my life. It was the Lord Jesus Christ! He was the one person that I had lost throughout the hustle and bustle of my daily life! I asked him to come back in, take over my life, and help me to get better so that I could be the best husband and dad that I could be. My father, God, and my Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, came in and made me whole again. I seriously feel that I am the only person that the Lord takes care of sometimes, but I know I’m not. I have spasticity issues once in a while, maybe a headache now and then, but ULTIMATELY the Lord has kept me well! God has a path for each of us, and its a path that HE set. Once I chose to allow him to lead me on that path, everything just kept getting better! Before when I attempted to make and travel my own path, I kept getting LOST, but now I’m found! I have been well, no relapses since December 2012, and if I can give ONE piece of advice to everyone suffering from MS, it would be this. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ, and you too can achieve a life of fulfillment! Jesus DOES heal, but only if we ask him to enter our hearts and lives to do so. I’m sure that my monthly treatments help, but I haven’t stayed well for this long becuz of it. I’ve stayed well because I ask Jesus each and every day to continue to keep me well, and that’s it! I don’t know about anyone else, but I BELIEVE IN GOD, the FATHER ALMIGHTY! And I BELIEVE IN his ONLY SON JESUS CHRIST! If everyone would do the same, I can HONESTLY PROMISE you that your life WILL BE REWARDED, just as I have! I love you God, and I love you Jesus!!! Amen!!!
