#TBT: Remembering Annette Funicello’s Long Battle with Multiple Sclerosis

Annette Joanne Funicello was an American actress and singer best known for her roles the original Mickey Mouse Club and the successful Beach Party.

In 1992, Funicello announced that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and after a long hard-fought battle she died of complications from the disease on April 8, 2013.

Today we remember her battle.
