ectrims-abstract-topicsThis year’s ECTRIMS to be held Sept. 14-17, in London, will cover more than 40 different abstract topics. The scientific reports and summaries fall into five different sub-categories:

Clinical Aspects of MS

Covering topics that include immunosuppression, long-term treatment monitoring, and treatment of progressive MS.

Pathology and Pathogenesis of MS

Covering topics such as inflammation and tissue damage, repairing mechanism, and biomarkers.

Therapy – Disease Modifying

Covering topics including neuroprotection, risk management for disease-modifying treatments, and tools for detecting therapeutic responses.

Therapy – Symptomatic

Covering topics such as treatment of specific symptoms, quality of life, and enhancing CNS plasticity.

Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (RIMS)

Covering topics such that include symptoms management, neuropsychology and fatigue management, and exercise.
