LiveWiseMS Launches Online Platform for Multiple Sclerosis Patients
The International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses (IONMS) has launched an online resource catering to multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, families, and caregivers.
LiveWiseMS aims to raise awareness of the symptoms of MS and offer people living with the condition valuable information about how to live healthily and improve their quality of life. It will explain the symptoms of MS and provide insight on how best to manage those symptoms using videos, patient testimonials, and infographics.
The platform will also contain template letters patients can use for medical insurance companies or to contact their elected representatives about matters concerning multiple sclerosis. In addition, there will be a social aspect to the platform where members can interact with each other, offering support and emotional and practical advice. The site will also offer users the ability to submit questions to a panel of experts. Find out more about the new online resource here.
