I do have a question. What does an MS patient do for activity to keep his days interesting and connected? Books he cannot read due to his vision loss, he has lost finger dexterity, and cannot walk or speak well. His days are long. He listens to youtube podcasts and books. I’ve tried board games, he cannot see them well. I feel the only thing he has going for himself is his hearing. Any suggestions??

    • Hi Adam
Podcasts – there r zillions out there. I like Modern History, Politics, Football [the proper world game], Science, Movies and Comedy [just involved in starting one – a whole 2 weeks!].
Connected? Get him to ask something here [u can type it] – either me or the other site moderator, Ed Tobias, are likely to reply if not other members.
      Cheers John

      • That’s a tough question, Adam. Because my disability isn’t that severe I can’t offer a personal answer. Perhaps someone else here can. Have you discussed this with an occupational therapist? An OT might also have some ideas.
