I was diagnosed at 27, now 58. I lost my eye sight,  the left corners, both eyes. I thought I looked into the sun too long. Anyway,  that was how I was diagnosed. Had mri & spinal tap.  Had no problems until 42 & my legs gave up. Can walk anymore.
