Biography

I am 60 years old this year and was dx with MS 19 years ago, in 2000. I was on Betaseron for several years until I had a breakthrough, then went on Aubagio for a short period of time, then took an antibiotic/antifungal cocktail for quite a while until I could take Lemtrada. I am considered SPMS at this point and have had two cases of co-morbidity problems – PE bloodclots both times. I am on Warfarin now, so hopefully that won’t happen again, but in the meantime, I have become less and less able to be very mobile. My dear husband is my caretaker, but he had an unexpected bypass surgery this past October and is slowly recovering.
