    Hi Maranne,
My sister-in-law fought for years to get her diagnosis for fibromyalgia. We did discuss the poss. that she had MS, they are both autoimmune diseases and fatigue is a shared symptom. However, constant pain doesn’t affect all of us.
Spent a few weeks in Cape Breton in my early 20’s visiting family never met before! Am from London. It’…[Read more]

  • Recently, one of our new members revealed that he gained a Master’s degree in Philosophy since his diagnosis. It’s quite possible that he may have been heading down this route anyway. But it got me thinking – with the complete change in lifestyle forced on us with MS, we might make other changes as well.

I seem to have returned to jou…[Read more]

    • Have thought quite a bit about this over the weekend to keep it simple and straightforward. I’ll be happy to answer/expand on anything. But do not want to bore everybody to death out of the gate. I know MS is like a snowflake, and we are all different, For me it’s a integrative
medicine approach and even lots of iterations .

  • There are moments in life that have surprising effects on all of us.
I had two: Around 9, when I was informed by my mother that my headmaster had been told when I disappeared for a few hours after school. Fair enough in hindsight. I went off to play with a classmate at his home. It turned out to be, for a 9-year-old, what seemed like a magical…[Read more]

    • I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive and the Secondary Primary Progressive. I see my Dr every six months and she never discussed Relapsing. I was diagnosed with Secondary Progressive MS and had to change medicines.

  • Now that I’ve somewhat recently joined the Secondary Progressive (SPMS) crew, any medicines that could possibly help us get my full attention. There’s not a lot!
