Years ago I had two cats, but I wasn’t able to stroke them bec I discovered I had an asmatic reaction to them. A few months ago, my oldest son adopted a dog, Lucky. I am not much of a fan of dogs, but I do pat him from time to time on his insistance, and I have to admit, it definitely relaxes/calms me. I see why people get them as service animals.
