    I don’t think very much about this “news.”

    The content of the article fails to back-up the generalized headline, which makes it sound as if it might be dangerous for someone to switch from Gilenya to Lemtrada.

    First, this is a report of the experience of just ONE patient. There’s no indication of a pattern.

    Next, it appears as if Lemtrada may have actually helped this patient. The article reports that neither Gilenya nor Lemtrada could control the advancement of this woman’s MS. But it also says that after the second Lemtrada treatment her disease stabilized. As far as I can see, there’s no evidence that the problems she experienced were a direct result of switching from one specific DMT to another.
