Are you looking forward to summer?
Sometimes, I cringe at the thought of summer. I love sunshine, BBQ’s and all that summer offers , but, I dread the heat and high humidity.
How do you survive the long hot summer?

A quick answer to that question…NO…I just want to get the next three months over with….I get ” very ratty ” if we were to have what is called a ( British ) heatwave…Because heatwaves may or may not happen, we in UK do not have ceiling fans – air condition but have to rely on purchasing floor oscillating electric fans…Last year I bought myself hand held silk fans for taking to my MS socials…I wasn’t the only one…..

I didn’t realize, why no ceiling fans or air-conditioning?

Debi, UK doesn’t have the Summers US have…we may or may not have what we class as a Summer-a heatwave which may last just a few short days but is too hot for me, with very little air…For us, it is a case of windows open and blinds being drawn to cool the inside of our homes…
