Ben: I can’t comment on this specific use but I can comment . A past physical therapist took it upon yourself to purchase a battery driven machine used to stimulate muscles. I used it on both my legs and my arms. I used it for good 6 months and then lost interest. So I can’t comment on uses beyond…

An implanted phrenic nerve stimulator for Central sleep apnea may be in my future. I already have the implanted baclofen pump. So if I ever get to the point where I’m considering a stimulator for bowel and bladder control, and I will be well on my way to being truly Bionic.

Benjamin, I had an implant done early fall by an experienced gyno Urologist so ask your dr for some uro drs for a consult. Ck out Axionics and Interstim X …(thats the one she recommended and was familiar with using) I actually was going to go for Axionics there are demo s to look into plus first steps dr will have ckecked out. It made a world of difference- mine was really 95% percent bladder issues but bowel was starting. I NEVER new these options existed and its not really a public conversation you want to exist. MS patients might have 100% improvement BUT if eventual 75% is it Ill take it! Also there are ways to higher n lower till you find what works for you with a helper you can always call… Sorry for the book but it changed my life and social family events. Good luck to you. Remember the saying: Knowledge is power.
