I recently started taking Provigil (Modafinil) for fatigue. I didn’t want a true stimulant and thought I would give this a try because it is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. So far, I get about 6 hours of mental clarity, but no jittery feeling or other physical effects. I do have to be careful about when I take it, because when the effects fade, I have a sense of exhaustion. I’m trying to get the timing right so that the exhaustion is hitting me at bedtime, but I haven’t got that quite dialed in yet.

Is anyone else taking Provigil for fatigue? What are your experiences?
