This is Manuela Lama’s (@manuela.p) story: As a single mother of a daughter with MS, she feels physically tired, but also mentally and emotionally exhausted. One of the first things that helped Manuela was to educate herself about MS and how it might affect her daughter. She also feels very blessed to have had the right people to help us on this journey.

Manuela believes trying to continue to live life as normally as possible is the key to life with MS: “They will have bad days when you’ll need to help them just get through the day.”

While her daughter’s diagnosis was life-changing, Manuela now feels closer to her.

Manuela, your resilient, loving spirit, shines through!

Now, back to our MS Community. Does Manuela’s words story resonate with you? Does attempting to live life as normally as possible, work for you?
