When Marie Pontini was diagnosed with MS five years ago, her accomplishments suddenly felt meaningless. Within months, she went from walking to using a wheelchair. She was forced into a new life. A clean slate.

So, she started bodybuilding, as a way to empower herself over chronic intense neurological pain. Since then, Marie has become stronger mentally and has learned to love and respect herself.

We love her way of thinking: “It’s okay if your past expectations of the future never happen. You still have the same potential. Decide to see beyond your circumstances.”

      Marie, your strength is incredible!

Now back to our MS Community: How have you managed to let go of past plans and dreams?
