On the Dock of the Bog….
OK to us English types ‘bog’ is slang for toilet. It originally referred to an open cesspit. I wasn’t about to forgo a punny title just because the majority of the Forum members are American. So I haven’t!
In my column this week ‘Up Peristeen, or How to Beat the Blockade‘ I discuss MS and bowel problems. I raised this as a discussion a few weeks ago in this forum but got no response. It’s possible that I’m just unlucky enough to add this to my bunch of woes and it’s not a pressing matter for the rest of you!
However Peristeen [basically a do it yourself water enema] has changed my life this week!
If any of you suffer in silence [well, there can be such a build up that you turn into Vesuvius for a few minutes – so definitely not silent!] do something about it.
Anyone else? Or is it just me?
