Ancient Greek Temples Had The First Disabled Access Ramps
This is about being disabled in general!
It’s interesting that the ancient Greeks may have had disabled access to their temples!
My guess is plenty of their surviving warriors may have lost the ability to walk.
It’s not that these were enlightened society’s – all their philosophers lived at the apex of civilizations based on slavery!
I’m in the UK and when I could go out the amount of shops that actually even had a portable ramp were severely limited. The English pubs though hardly ever let me down!
What have your experiences been like?
