Cashew Molecule Promotes Remyelination, Halts Disease Progression in MS Mice
Well the possibility that something in cashew nuts might help re-myelination is personally great news!
The cashew is one of my fave foods! And now that I’ve become a vegan there are precious few of of them left!!
Of course you probably have to eat thousands!. But, hey I’m willing to put the work in.
The upsides are that I can get my wife to stop scoffing at my scoffing!! Also nuts are not completely absorbed by the body. Plus nuts seem to have other numerous benefits including that dread to all of us inflammation!
Anyone else fancy a nibble?

Unfortunately Anacardic Acid is in the shell of the cashew! Oh dear, never mind. Got exited without reading the sources!
You’ll never find a cashew nut with a shell on it. As each one has to be taken off and an acidic and treacly substance then has to be stripped off each nut by hand. This is great for labor employment in the developing world. The downside is the terrible effect it has on the workers hands!
