  Drug Withdrawal

  OK, OK not in the naughty sense!

  In my column this week [Stop in the Name of Leukocytes] I describe getting all the way to the hospital [an hour and a half’s drive in London rush hour traffic] only to be told for valid medical reasons that it had been cancelled!

  What hadn’t been cancelled was me. No one told me till I was there!!

  Has this ever happen to you?

  If it has – how did it make you feel?
