MS may progresses faster in African-American patients
New research reports show that Multiple Sclerosis in African-Americans progresses much faster than in Caucasian patients, suggesting that African-Americans would benefit from a more aggressive treatment approach. Mounting evidence points to MS progressing more quickly in Africans-Americans — marked by greater inflammatory disease activity and faster disability accumulation — than whites in the U.S.
