Nearly Thwarted by a Step
Yup – plugging my own column today! But seriously a reader [Cynthia – hullo] of another recent column [that’s 2 plugs – a 2-4-1 posting!] pointed out they’d turned up to a hotel they’d checked disabled access with. Yes there was a lift – you just had to get up 4 steps! It’s a nightmare getting the able bodied to see the world through our eyes. This is a general gripe for all us disabled people. Has anything like this happened to you?
