U may all know Neurotropic Pain but it’s a new one on me. It’s pain caused by brain damage. Which is obvs what is happening to us.

My right arm is in severe pain and I take an amalgam of three drugs to control it. I’ve been calling it Neuropathic Pain till recently. When I discovered that maybe wrong! As an MS patient u’re continually learning on the job!!

There are precious few reference’s to Neurotropic on the net – I found it in our new news article about a poss non-opiod solution for chronic chronic pain. ‘The researchers first tested the analgesic or pain-lessening properties of several PAMs in a rat model of pain caused by nerve damage (neurotropic pain)’.

Sorry to have confused you but as a complete medical amateur it is a minefield of conflicting information out there

Anyone know? Is it perhaps both?
