October is National Disability Awareness Month
My fellow moderator has just put a column up about this ‘Disability Employment Awareness Isn’t Enough to Keep You Working’.
Highlighting his experience in the US workplace. I’m in the UK where we supposedly have a lot of protection. However I’ve always been a freelance [when I started out it wasn’t ‘fashionable’] so my protection was effectively zilch. Still, the employer/partner I stayed with longest [30 years] was incredibly understanding and supportive. That which can’t be named killed our long standing – OK, I was sitting by the end – relationship!
What are your MS work war/support stories!
