I wilted the other week – so that’s what my latest column was about!
It was published this Monday [7/7/20] because of all your Independence shenanigans. Something about beating the British! Big deal even your USA amateur team beat the pride of English soccer [we who invented the game call it football! – as do the rest of the world BTW!!] in 1952 in the first World Cup we ever deigned to attend..
So as appearing on a new day [am a Friday reg] am trying to drum up a bit of biz….
For those of you who suffer similarly I also throw in a cooling tip [with my own added cocktail twist!].
Do any of you, without air conditioning, have other keeping cool tips?
I’m still hot [under the collar] from the ’52 result and wasn’t even born!!!!
