My column this week is the rather convoluted story of how I found [with much help] a Urologist working with long term UTI patients.

Us lot with MS have the propensity to get them anyway. Mine is further encouraged by my DMT‘s destroying my immune system!

It’s a relief – my body is no longer ravaged or ‘scythed down’ [my editor liked that one!] by them. I still get flares [my Urologists’ term] but extra doses of Nitrofurantoin  and Hiprex calms them down.

Have been feeling a lot better overall recently – my wife wonders if it is this that has really helped. It must be – I never disagree [well, I put up a bit of a fight for show!].

Has any side effect of MS been solved and changed your wellbeing?
