What things can you still do that you did before MS?  Hobbies, work around the house, or something else?

I can still laugh, find humour in things. I still have my strong opinions, and not afraid to make my points known. My brain box is still functioning, I am still on the ball. I often try to carry on as If I dont have MS, well in my mind I do. As for work in the home, I can still take my turn feeding the dog. I can still do washing up, by hand, not machine. I can still prepare my own food, ( salads – microwaves – sandwiches – breakfast cereals with berries, ) although I am not a cook and rarely prepare meals unless I steam vegetables. I can still dress myself, although not so easy when my body messes up more than my usual messes ups – I can still wash my face, clean my teeth. I still have my memory, my past memories are sharper than my now’s.

I think I could answer this question – topic better if the question was ” what cant I do now, since my MS.” my list would be longer, such as hoovering – vaccuming. Walking with striding steps, the most obvious. Holding my body upright and proud as I once did, whilst looking ahead, rather than looking at the ground as I do now before I tread.

Yes, I just wanted us to focus on what we can do with this topic.. It helps me to stay positive if I realize I can still do certain things. Thanks for sharing your positives! I like that you try to carry on like you don’t have MS. I think that is positive thinking!
