1 Year of Ocrevus Not Linked to Higher Risk of Brain Infection PML
This is an interesting study – especially for me.
I was successfully on Ocrevus and, then was wrenched of it. Not overnight but within one hour of taking it! For exactly for this PML infection reason.
I have extremely aggressive MS & it was the first DMT – Disease Modifying Therapy – that I ever felt was actually helping me. It was holding me in RRMS. 10 months after my last dose I had 2 relapses within a month! Moved into SPMS.
Anyone been yanked off a therapy like this/

I’ve been following the Ocrevus/PML concern for a few years and, out of the tens of thousands of people who have been treated with it only about a dozen PML cases have been reported. And I’ve only come across one who had no DMT before Ocrevus. Here’s what I wrote about that.
I think whoever yanked you off Ocrevus should put you right back on it. (Just my personal opinion. As you know, I’m not a doc.) And you can tell him or her I said so!!
