    Hey Guys,

I noticed that msnewstoday keeps bringing up this supplement as helpful for MS in mice. Anyone found any reliable info for dosing or sources? All my doctors won’t give me any direction on this.

    Hi Timothy

Presume you’ve read this news report on this site:

‘Simple Sugar Molecule May Be Potential Myelin-repairing Therapy for MS

Know I’ve written about it in the forums and typically can’t find it. Be warned – lots of things work in mice but rarely wok in humans!

Still here in the UK it is generally available – think the body building crowd like it!

Take it myself – just in case one of these supplements actually works for us!

Have a look at Ursolic Acid if u’re in this mood.

    Cheers John

    Timothy,

I agree with John. I hate reports about mice studies because these studies are very early in the research process. I think they mislead people and I’m not surprised that your doctors don’t want to go down this road with you. Researcher have a saying: “Mice lie and monkeys exaggerate.”

This website reports on a lot of these mouse studies, I guess because it’s interesting to see what researchers are doing. But, I read them with a LOT of skepticism.
