My column this week ‘Turn It Off, Then On Again’ is the farrago of my powered wheelchair. Or more contentiously my ‘no power’ wheelchair’ – is batted about [OK this is an English colloquium derived from cricket [[if u’re a US reader explaining cricket will take days!!!]]]. How about all round the houses?

Or, my writing, is just that tad bit circuitous [see above para!].

Wheelchair has been out of action for a week – the first thing the tech suggested was the batteries were dead! Protested they weren’t – it was the controller.

    They weren’t!!

    Wasted three days discovering this.

Still, they’re coming back tomorrow with a new controller.

    Here’s hoping.

Have you ever been ignored about the analysis of a vital equipment failure?
