Mary Ann Picone
is a board certified neurologist, who has specialized in the field of multiple sclerosis for over 20 years. She is widely recognized for her clinical expertise, research acumen and comprehensive approach to patient care. Dr. Picone has been Medical Director of the MS Center at Holy Name Medical Center for the better part of her career and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. She is Editor and chapter author of the recently published Multiple Sclerosis for the Non Neurologist and Foot and Ankle Pain Management. She has been named as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly. As principal investigator for numerous studies, Dr. Picone has participated in clinical research focusing on disease modification therapies for MS, symptom management, psychosocial interventions, gait and balance disorders in MS and quality of life improvement for patients and families.
