Doing your own research empowers you to make informed decisions about your health. It helps you to understand what’s available, how different treatments work, and what may be better fit for your unique body.
Plus, staying informed means you can have more productive conversation with your doctor instead of feeling stuck or frustrated.
I did try to stick to credible sources like the National MS Society, some medical journals, or I was also following some well-known MS specialists. I was also some part of the MS communities just to learn from real people and their real life insight.
So that was actually helpful for me that when I was seeing my neurologist to be prepared about different options.
