Yeah, that’s a very common question that I’ve received from my clients. I would say come prepared.
Keep a symptom journal to show patterns or concerns, bring research on alternatives, and ask open-ended questions, like, “Based on my symptoms, could this treatment be a good fit for me?”
The more specific you are, the easier it is for your doctor to take your request seriously.
