I would say that if you’re thinking about beginning an MS treatment, that doesn’t mean you’re any less powerful. Like, it’s basically in your hands to decide what route you want to go.
I think it’s important to remember that no treatment is a one-size-fits-all. So I think it’s important to exercise all of your options. And if it’s accessible, and if you’re in a position to do so, to receive a second opinion — a second or third opinion.
Because I wouldn’t say having one provider or doctor dictate your journey would be a good idea. So if you can get a second opinion, I would definitely recommend that.
