Two things that I would take away here. Number one, it’s your body, it’s your brain, it’s your life, and it’s your insurance money. So really, the doctor’s there to help you, and you’re allowed to have a strong opinion because you’re a you expert.
The second thing that I would suggest when interacting with a physician is come prepared and take notes written down. Tell the doctor, “Hey, I’ve got a lot to share with you. I made some notes so that I don’t forget the pieces. May I please read it to you?”
And that’s a way of helping the doctor know that we’re gonna have a conversation. And that’s a way of making sure that you don’t miss any of your important points.
