Yes, I agree that making the bed is a difficult chore. I can not complete chores all at once. I must complete them in steps throughout the day.
I’m sorry to hear about your pains, is there anything that can help you?

I can relate to your symptoms Jackie! It is so hard for me to do intricate things with my fingers. My fingers just don’t want to cooperate ! I also have burning and numbness on my feet. Stretching, cannabis, cool lotion all seem to help. What works for you ?

It sounds like you were in an awful place, a hospital?
I agree it is worth a try for pain, I have tried to forget about the pain and hope it all goes away sometimes but it doesn’t.

Good for you, Jilly! I know what you mean about negative thoughts, they don’t help any of us! I have to work on keeping them away as well. I will definitely try your technique , thanks! ?

Jilly,
I’m not sure how many MS days, but the more awareness the better, right? ?
I personally, feel a cure is close. The details of it all is uncertain, of course, but I remain hopeful.

That’s sounds really helpful, Jilly. I think I will look into it. How long do you meditated at a time?

MemberApril 7, 2019 at 12:46 pm in reply to: How do you answer the question, “How do you feel?”I do the same Jilly, people are just being polite and don’t understand. I find it’s best to not elaborate on how I’m feeling . Best just to move the conversation on . ?

That would be frustrating, Steven. It’s good you are checking into grants and programs. I know there are “Gofundme” accounts that people can set up. Other than that, all I know is that there are shuttles that will pick up people in their wheelchairs. You would just have to check and see what is available in your city.
I hope more people have ideas to share !

Mine can come and go throughout the day, but they don’t last very long. But, when I feel almost normal it is incredible. I can walk a little faster (with my walker of course), and my legs feel more stable.

That’s true, It seems everyone has something sooner or later. Attitude has a lot to do with dealing with what we are dealt. I think we have pretty good attitudes Jackie.

That’s right Jackie! ?

So true Jackie, photos are great! I should definitely get more Photos!
That’s a good question, why wouldn’t I be here to see my grandkids grow? I don’t think I was talking about MS specifically taking me away. I think it was mainly I was just voicing my desire to see my grandkids grow.

Hi Dean,
That is awesome! Thank-you for sharing your story. I will check out the new Nitro duet you mentioned, it sounds great!
-
Yes, I to agree “ Positives come out of negatives!” I have seen that be true many times.
My motivations are my kids and grandkids. I really want to see my grandkids grow up!
-
I agree, Jackie. Though, I do hope that the researchers know more about what causes MS than they are letting on. I will never give up hope for a cure.
